Asus Zenfone Max M2 India launch confirmed on December 11
Asus Zenfone Max M2 India launch has been confirmed by the company and while the smartphone was earlier revealed in Russia, it is going to be the successor of Zenfone Max M1. The Asus Zenfone Max M2 is also going to be the first mid-range smartphone from the company to come with a display notch.
Asus has just teased the India launch of the Zenfone Max M2 through a tweet and while the handset is going to be a Flipkart exclusive, it will be launched on December 11 in India. Moreover, it has also been revealed that the Asus Zenfone Max M2 will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC while it will also run Stock Android out of the box, which could possibly be Android 9.0 Pie.
Meanwhile, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Zenfone Max M2 were recently launched in Russia with price tags of 17,990 rubles (roughly Rs. 19,100) and 12,990 rubles (roughly Rs. 13,800). If the Russian launch is to be believed, the Asus Zenfone Max M2 comes with a 6.3-inch HD+ notch display, dual rear camera, Snapdragon 632 SoC and more. In a separate teaser, it has also been confirmed that the Asus Zenfone Max M2 will come with Corning Gorilla Glass protection 6.
To recall, the Asus Zenfone Max M1 was launched with a 5.45-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio, Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, 13-megapixel rear camera, 4000mAh battery and more. It comes with a price tag of Rs. 7,499.
