AAP Minister Satyendar Jain Acquitted in Case of Rioting
A court today acquitted Delhi’s Health Minister Satyendar Jain in an alleged case of rioting in Paschim Vihar area here before the 2013 Delhi assembly election.
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Samar Vishal granted the relief to Jain and four AAP volunteers, noting that the witnesses cited by the prosecution failed to identify Jain, his advocate Mohd Irshad said.
Jain was arrested by the Delhi Police for allegedly rioting and obstructing public servants from discharging their duty during the protest which was held after a reported rape incident.
PM Modi to Attend G-20 Summit, to Meet Xi Jinping
PM Narendra Modi will leave tomorrow for Argentina to attend the G20 summit and return on 2 December 2, India’s Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale confirmed.
“There’s always scope in the margins of G20 for a meeting between the BRICS head of states. That meeting is confirmed. The PM will also meet the President of China Xi Jinping, this was decided at the BRICS summit of Johannesburg,” Gokhale said.
Pakistan Likely to Invite PM Modi for SAARC Summit
Neighbouring country Pakistan is likely to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi for SAARC Summit, media report by Dawn suggested.
The invite, confirmed by the Pakistan Foreign Office, comes on the heels of the opening ceremony of Kartarpur corridor on Tuesday.

Expert committee Submits Final Report on Sterlite Plant

Live Bullet seized from Man Visiting Arvind Kejriwal

Kalinga Sena Wihdraws Threat to Actor Shah Rukh Khan
The Kalinga Sena has withdrawn threat to throw ink at Shah Rukh Khan after request from the President of Hockey India. The outfit had threatened to throw ink on Khan’s face and stage black flag demonstration accusing him of insulting Odisha through his film Ashoka that was released 17 years ago.
“We have withdrawn our threat to throw ink at Shah Rukh Khan as we have received a letter from President of Hockey India requesting to consider the decision. Secondly, it is a matter of prestige of Odisha and India,” said the outfit’s chief Hemant Rath.
“We have decided to withdraw the threat for the time being in view of the request made by Hockey India President and Odisha government and police. Further decision will be taken later but we haven’t forgiven Shah Rukh Khan,” he said.
Encounter Between Militants, Security Forces in Kulgam
